Gas Sponsorship

One of the biggest barriers to onboarding new users to any blockchain is the requirement to hold native tokens to pay for gas. Haste App solves this with gas sponsorship — users can interact with the platform without needing any HASTE tokens in their wallet to cover transaction fees.

How It Works

When a user performs an action on Haste App, the transaction gas cost is covered by the platform instead of being charged to the user's wallet. This means:

  • No gas tokens needed — Users don't need to acquire HASTE before they can start using the app.
  • Seamless onboarding — New users can jump straight into the experience without understanding gas mechanics.
  • Frictionless UX — Transactions feel instant and free from the user's perspective.

Under the hood, each user is assigned a smart wallet (an on-chain account abstraction wallet). When a user performs an action, the platform's relay system submits the transaction through the smart wallet on the user's behalf and covers the gas fee. The user only needs to sign a message to authorize the action — the relay handles the rest.

Who Pays for Gas?

The Haste platform absorbs the gas costs as part of its infrastructure. This is possible because transaction fees on Haste Network are extremely low thanks to the AnyTrust DA layer — allowing the platform to sponsor a large volume of transactions at minimal cost.
